A security responder and shift supervisor observed a vehicle approach a nearby power
substation via closed-circuit television. Two subjects exited the vehicle, removed

The suspects crashed their vehicle a short distance away while attempting to flee
from the police and were apprehended. They were in the process of stealing an expensive

Committed to Community
An assistant security director devised a creative way to give back to the local
community. He obtained fingerprinting kits free of charge from various laboratories
and manufacturers. He then worked with mall management to publicize availability
of the kits and coordinate distribution during various mall events.
He also set up a Toys for Tots collection center, after obtaining mall management
approval, to draw attention to the security office, and distributed the fingerprinting
kits to individuals dropping off toys.
